【工作內容 & 徵求條件 Position Description】

這份工作適合對大數據、資料分析與行為研究有興趣或想要學相關知識的同學。不限科系，但必需有積極學習整理數據的意願，工作過程中會學到如何使用Python整理與分析各種數據，撰寫行為實驗所需的程式等。工作內容包括: (1) 會使用Python尤佳，或有其他程式基礎並願意積極學習Python者。 (2) 處理計畫相關之研究事項 (蒐集資料、整理分析數據、製作圖表、協助撰寫程式...等)。(3) 其他交辦事項。(4) 遙距工作，但每2-3個星期需要到學校一次向老師報告進度。可即時起聘，首三個月為試用期，表現優異者可續聘。

過往的助理在工作的過程中學到許多Python的應用、分析資料、以及實證研究的技巧，也有助理因此得到研究機關與Fintech公司的工作機會、以及考上資料科學與Fintech相關的研究所。區老師的研究領域廣泛，包含勞動、發展、環境、以及醫療經濟學的應用。最近的研究主題包含探討環境與氣候變化等因素會如何影響健康與勞動生產力，研究會使用從NASA的衛星影像中轉換出來的空污與大氣數據來分析污染與氣候變變遷對經濟與社會的影響。研究助理將使用Python與Stata協助整理資料、彙整分析結果，並在過程中學習如何把經濟學理論與實證資料結合，撰寫研究報告。

This job is suitable for students who are interested in big data, data analysis, behavioral science, or want to learn related knowledge. No specific major is required, but you must be willing to actively learn and organize data. During the job, Assistants will have the opportunity to develop skills related to data analysis with Python, write programs required for behavioral experiments, and more. Job description: (1) Proficiency in Python is preferred, but those with a foundation in other programming languages and a willingness to actively learn Python are also welcome. (2) Assist in academic research tasks (data collection, organizing and analyzing data, creating charts, assisting in programming, etc.). (3) Other assigned tasks. (4) Assistants will work remotely, but have an in-person meeting once every 2 to 3 weeks. Successful candidates can start working immediately, there is a three-month probation period. Highly qualified applicants will have contract extensions.

Previous assistants have gained valuable experience in Python, data analysis, and empirical research skills, leading to job opportunities in research institutions and Fintech companies, as well as admission to data science- or fintech-related graduate programs. Professor Ao’s research includes labor, development, environmental, and health economics. Recent research topics focus on examining how environmental factors such as air quality and climate change affect health and labor productivity. The research utilizes air pollution and atmospheric data derived from NASA satellite imagery to analyze the impact of pollution and climate change on the economy and society. The research assistant will use Python and Stata to assist in data organization, analysis, and the integration of economic theory with empirical data. S/he will also be involved in writing research reports.

【薪資範圍 Salary】NT$ 5,000~6,000 per month | NT$200 per hour
