Tenure-track Faculty Position Open in the Department of Geomatics, NCKU

The Department of Geomatics at National Cheng Kung University invites applications for one tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor or above, to begin on August 1, 2025. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a field closely related to geomatics, such as surveying and mapping, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geospatial information, navigation, space and earth sciences. Preference will be given to candidates who have experiences in international researches (including pursuit of a Ph.D. degree or work as a postdoctoral researcher) or teaching (including teaching in English, with relevant certifications attached). The responsibilities include dedicated and effective teaching of Geomatics-related basic courses in both Mandarin and English at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a commitment to conducting research in a field closely related to geomatics.

Candidates are requested to submit the following materials in PDF format via email:

2. A photocopy of the Ph.D. degree certificate. (If the diploma is from a foreign institution, it must be authenticated by R.O.C embassies. An unauthenticated copy may be submitted initially and replaced with an authenticated copy later).
3. Academic transcripts for both the Ph.D. and Master's degrees (these must be authenticated by R.O.C embassies).
4. Research and teaching plans (including Course Syllabus).
5. The Ph.D. dissertation.
6. Copies of papers published within the past 7 years (please note the journal impact factor and ranking, and indicate one representative paper).
7. Three reference letters (these should be sent directly by the referees in PDF format via email to the Chairman, Professor Chung-Yen Kuo).
