國立成功大學社會科學院自即日起徵求新任院長，聘期自民國113年（西元2024年）08月01日起，任期3年。

一、候選人需具備下列條件

(一)   候選人應具備與本院五系所相關之教授資格，及具有中華民國國籍；具其他國籍者，應報請主管機關核准。

(二)   候選人應具有前瞻性教育理念、相當學術成就、高尚品德及學術行政能力。

(三)   候選人應在本院與院長遴選委員會闡述治院理念並接受詢答。

National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) invites applications and nominations for its next dean of the College of Social Sciences. Reporting to the President, the dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the college. The starting date of the appointment is August 1, 2024. The initial appointment will be 3 years and with a renewable second term.

Established in 1997, the College of Social Sciences is becoming one of the fast growing and intellectually robust colleges of NCKU. The College is comprised of Department of Economics, Department of Political Science, Department of Psychology, Department of Law and Institute of Education. With more than 77 full-time faculty members and 1653 enrolled students, it upholds a mission to promote academic advancement by integrated research through intercollegiate and interdisciplinary cooperation and internationalization.

Requirements:

1.Candidates are required to be full professorship in Social Sciences or related field with a good command of Mandarin. R.O.C. nationality is preferred. Those of other nationalities should be reported to the competent authority for approval.

2.Candidates should possess visionary leadership, considerable academic achievement and experience in handling academic and administrative affairs.

3.Candidates are required to express their philosophy of governance and be available for consultation by the Dean Search Committee at the Home.
