The Department of Civil Engineering at Cheng Kung University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Applicants are expected to develop innovative courses and research in the areas of sustainable development engineering, environmental conservation, disaster mitigation and other emerging civil engineering topics. Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. and evidence of the ability to pursue a program of innovative research. A strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching are required. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and to lead a team of graduate students. Applicants should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a one-page statement of research vision, a one-page statement of teaching interests, and three letters of recommendations (sent directly to the following email address).
