Full-time Tenure Track Position
Department of Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan
Title: Assistant Professor or higher

Starting date of employment: February 1st or August 1st, 2027
Qualification for Candidates:
(1) Ph.D. degree.
(2) Research field or experience in Water resources system analysis, Application of artificial intelligence in Hydraulic and ocean, Hydrometeorology, Dynamics of marine structures, Marine environmental monitoring, Ocean engineering, Technology of Remote sensing in hydraulic and ocean engineering, Coastal protection and disaster prevention, Hydraulic and ocean renewable energy, Disaster prevention and Sustainable Management, marine information management and application, maritime safety monitoring and management, marine sustainable use and management or other fields related to innovative hydraulic or ocean engineering research,.
Please include the following documents with your application:

2. Curriculum Vitae (including autobiography and description of professional experience).
3. A list of the Ph.D. advisor and at least three referees, including their affiliations, titles, email addresses, and contact phone numbers (the department may contact them if necessary).
4. A list of publications (including the doctoral dissertation and at least one representative publication in electronic format).
5. Academic transcripts (at minimum, Ph.D. program transcripts must be included).
6. A copy of the Ph.D. diploma or proof of having passed the Ph.D. oral defense (degrees obtained abroad must be authenticated by an overseas representative office prior to the interview).
7. Statement of future research plans.
8. Statement of future teaching plans (including courses that can be offered; at least one course must be taught in English each academic year).
9. Any other supporting documents that may assist in the review process.
