Position Title: Assistant Professor or higher
Application Deadline: June 30, 2025
Expected Start Date: February 1, 2026 or August 1, 2026
Qualifications:
(1) A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
(2) Expertise in at least one of the following research areas: System analysis in water resources, Application of artificial intelligence in hydraulic and ocean engineering, Hydrometeorology, Marine structures, Marine environmental monitoring, Ocean engineering, Coastal protection and disaster prevention, Hydraulic and ocean renewable energy, Disaster prevention and sustainable management, Innovative research in hydraulic or ocean engineering, Management and application of marine informatics, Maritime safety monitoring and management, Sustainable use and management of marine resources or Other topics related to hydraulic and ocean engineering.
Required Documents:
(1) Applicant Form – Please download the designated form from the department's recruitment webpage.
(2) Curriculum Vitae – No fixed format, but should include an autobiography, employment history, and contact information for at least three referees.
(3) Three Recommendation Letters – Letters must be sent directly to the Dept. Chair via postal mail or email.
(4) Publication list– Please include your Ph.D. dissertation and at least one representative publication (submission via postal mail or email).
(5) Academic Transcripts – At minimum, the transcript of your Ph.D. program.
(6) Ph.D. Degree Certificate – To be authenticated by a Taiwan overseas representative office before interview
(7) Research Plan – Outline your future research directions.
(8) Teaching Plan – Include proposed courses and teaching strategies.
(9) Supplementary Materials (optional) – Any additional documents that demonstrate your academic and professional achievements.
