一、領域需求：臺灣史領域，以「荷蘭時期至清代臺灣史」、「南臺灣歷史研究」、「臺灣近現代產業史」、「臺灣文化史」等為優先，或其他相關者。
二、 名 額：專任教師1名。
三、 資 格：需具有博士學位或助理教授資格（含）以上者。
四、 起聘時間：109年2月1日或8月1日。

Department of History, National Cheng Kung University
I. Opening:
1. One full-time assistant professorship and above
2. Field of expertise: History of Taiwan, preferably:
a. History of Taiwan from the Dutch to the Qing period;
b. Historical Research of Southern Taiwan;
c. History of Industries in Modern Taiwan;
d. History of Taiwan Cultures.
3. Appointment starts from February 1, 2020 or August 1, 2020
II. General requirements:
1. Ph.D. degree in history or related fields
2. Good academic publications, with teaching experience preferred
3. Fluent to lecture in Mandarin
III. Application materials:
1. Full Curriculum Vitae
2. Application form (as attached file)
3. Photocopy of the official PhD diploma
4. Official transcript for PhD courses (if applicable) or relevant documents
5. Syllabi of 2-3 proposed courses on undergraduate and postgraduate levels (as attached file)
6. A copy of Ph.D. dissertation; and academic publications (within recent 5 years and 5 articles of publications at most)
7. Three letters of recommendation (posted directly or through email to the Chair, or sealed and sent to the Chair with other application materials)
NOTES:
1. For non-Taiwanese university degree holder, both the degree diploma and academic transcript must be certified by the embassies or missions of the Republic of China (Taiwan); however, such certification can be waived if the applicant could provide Teacher’s Certificate of Assistant Professorship (or above) issued by the Ministry of Education of the ROC.
2. All information provided by the applicants will be treated with strict confidentiality.
3. The appointment is decided on a non-discriminatory basis.
